Birsu studied law at Anadolu University. During the fall semester of 2022-2023, she studied abroad at the University of Lisbon through the Erasmus program. She achieved second place in the Feridun Yenisey Moot Court Competition and third place in the petition category of the ISTAC Future Arbitration Lawyer Competition during her studies. 
 

She is expected to be admitted to İstanbul Bar in 2025. She speaks Turkish and English.
